Hi everyone! I'm posting my latest creation...a Christmas cake for the PG&E party at Rosa's Restaurant in Pismo Beach last night. It was a replica of the Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant...complete with a little Christmas tree off to the right, beside one of the reactors! There were waaaaaay to many little buildings on the site to be incorporated into the cake, but I got the main ones; the turbine building in front, the two reactors behind that, and an auxillary building in the back. Of course, I had to get the shoreline into the scene (piping gel that was tinted blue, with white royal icing 'whitecaps'). Too much fun! The true test, though, was whether or not the engineers would be impressed....they were!!!!!! (Phew!)
