God's Haven For Children, a local organization in San Luis Obispo that does amazing work with foster children, held a fundraiser at the beautiful, historic Biddle House. It was such a fun day featuring local wines, delicious food from Chef Leonard Gentieu of "ONE-Onboard Nautical Events" in Morro Bay, live music....and desserts from yours truly, Cake Cathedral. The mini cakes were White Velvet, rolled in powdered sugar which created a yummy glaze, then decorated with Italian Meringue Butter Cream leaves. To finish, red sugar roses were added to half the cakes, white sugar hydrangea blossoms to the other half. Dean Sullivan of Sullivan Studios did a beautiful job of capturing the cakes and was kind enough to send me this photo. Thanks, Dean!
